Rainy Day Read

The heavy rains that have been rolling through the foothills the past few days feel so luxuriant as I reflect on the anxiety we all felt over the long dry summer. What a blessing the rain has been! The kids and I have even heard a few grumblings of thunder which is so rare around here and just thrills our hearts. In spite of the wet weather, I'm continuing to gather treasures for the spring fair season including a vintage copy of A Child's Garden of Verses--a sweet read for a cold, rainy day.
