I wanted to share my favorite cake with you--what do you think? A few years ago, I had my first bite of the Berry Chantilly Cake at Whole Foods Market. Wow! I loved the delicate, almond sponge cake and the fresh raspberry-blackberry-blueberry topping and filling. But what really elevated this cake was the frosting! It was creamy perfection! I loved it's silky mouthfeel and not-too-sweet flavor. After that first Berry Chantilly Cake experience, I was determined to come up with my own version. After a bit of tinkering, I arrived at the beauty you see above. It's my favorite, and I can't imagine any other cake pushing it off of its pedestal any time soon. If you like berries and cream, order this for yourself or someone you love. You won't regret it!
